The Project Engineer will support our dewatering design team with all aspects of dewatering design preparation. This is a key technical role responsible for the design and implementation of groundwater control systems across various projects. The role involves utilizing engineering principles to develop efficient and effective dewatering solutions while adhering to industry standards and project specifications. The Project Engineer will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, provide technical guidance, and oversee the execution of dewatering designs from conception to completion.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Dewatering System Design: Lead the design and optimization of dewatering systems for construction projects.
  2. Hydrogeological Analysis: Conduct hydrogeological assessments to understand groundwater conditions and hydraulic properties of soils which influence the design and performance of dewatering systems.
  3. Engineering Calculations: perform engineering calculations to determine pumping rates, well spacing, and other parameters critical to the operation of the dewatering system.
  4. Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports for dewatering submittal packages.
  5. Team Leadership: Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to the technical and sales staff involved in dewatering projects.
  6. Sales Support: Provide technical sales support for our business development team to help sort, prioritize, and high-grade potential dewatering opportunities and assist with sales strategy development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Civil Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field, preferred
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in dewatering system design and implementation, preferably in the construction sector a plus.
  • Proficiency in hydrogeological analysis and engineering design tools. Experience with groundwater modeling software preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices for dewatering system implementation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, project management skills, and problem-solving skills.

Pay Range


$75 – 100K based on location, experience, and qualifications.

Travel – 10% (as needed basis for project meetings or site visits)
