Social Media Art Director

Our client, an iconic fashion retailer, is looking for an imaginative Social Media Art Director to join their team on a freelance basis. Our ideal candidate lives and breathes social media - both strategy and content - and is an expert when it comes to production, video, and motion graphics. 

You will work to bring the brand's social creative to life and investigate what drives and motivates consumers. 

We're especially looking for designers whose portfolios demonstrate a wide breadth of Social Media experience! 

Responsibilities:

• Concept, design, and execute creative that makes a splash across platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, etc)
• Bring passion to the process of creation and make truly original video/motion content for the brand
• Design and ideate on new concepts with cross-functional teams
• Direct production teams in the design and creation video content
• Create engaging digital media content independently (create video and photo content on your own)

Required Skills:

• Full and total fluency in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Adobe Creative Suite & design templates in Canva or Google, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook
• Understanding of the best practices and current trends in digital and social creative
• Mastery of both concepting design and tactical execution
• Project Management and Leadership skills, the ability to plan a shoot and direct a team
• Familiarity with live content and the ability to plan/execute livestreams (i.e. Instagram Live)
• Cross-collaboration with creative and strategy teams, social copy teams, and video and photography
• Capable, responsible, engaged, and accountable, always with a positive attitude
