Digital Art Teacher (Grades 3โ€“12)
$25โ€“$35 per hourInspire the Next Generation of Digital Creators.

At One River School, we believe digital art is one of the most powerful creative languages of our time. Weโ€™re looking for innovative, tech-savvy artists and educators to guide students in grades 3โ€“12 through the evolving world of digital creationโ€”from foundational skills to portfolio-level work.

If youโ€™re passionate about contemporary digital tools, love mentoring young creatives, and believe technology should expand imaginationโ€”not limit itโ€”weโ€™d love to meet you. We have weekday hours teaching our Summer Camp curriculum and weekend hours (Sunday availability is a huge plus).


What Youโ€™ll Do

Teach engaging weekly digital art classes for students in grades 3โ€“12
Guide students in tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate), Blender, Moho, digital drawing tablets, graphic design, digital illustration, animation, or related platforms
Support middle and high school students in developing portfolio-quality work
Introduce creative problem-solving, visual storytelling, and design thinking
Foster a studio culture that encourages experimentation, critique, and growth
Communicate thoughtfully with families about student progress and creative development

Who You Are

A practicing digital artist, designer, illustrator, animator, or creative technologist
Experienced teaching students in a digital lab setting (1+ year preferred)
Comfortable working with a range of ages from upper elementary through high school
Skilled in digital platforms and current industry tools
Passionate about helping students build both technical skill and creative confidence
Engaging, organized, and student-centered
Aligned with our mission to transform art education

Education:
BFA or BS in Digital Art, Graphic Design, Animation, Art Education, or related field required
MFA or Masterโ€™s degree is a plus
