Senior Tax Associate

Hire Resolve is currently headhunting for a highly experienced and skilled CPA - Tax Accountant to join our client's growing CPA team in the San Diego Area, you will be responsible for preparing tax payments and returns, as well as recommending tax strategies that align with our business goals. It is crucial that you stay updated with changes to tax regulations and laws, and ensure that our company meets tight deadlines.

In this role, you will also be responsible for organizing and maintaining records of tax payments, identifying tax savings opportunities, and liaising with internal and external auditors. Your expertise in forecasting tax predictions and sharing financial data with the accounting department will be valuable in ensuring the company's financial well-being.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare complex federal and multi-state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts and tax-exempt entities.
• Prepare projections of taxable income and estimated tax liabilities.
• Gather, organize and review client information
• Prepare work papers supporting the tax returns including adjusting book ad tax journal entries.
• Research tax-related issues necessary to complete the tax returns.

Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must have:

• Masters Degree in Accounting
• 2+ Years experience as a Tax Associate, Advisor or Accountant required
• Progression towards CPA is a plus
