Cut and Sew Technician

Position Summary:

We are searching for a Cut and Sew Technician. Compensation ranges from $18 to $23 per hour, depending on skill set. Please find the details below:

Shift times:

This is a full-time role, scheduled from 6:00am to 2:30pm - Monday through Friday.

Job Responsibilities:

Execute cutting and sewing tasks based on patterns provided by the pattern maker.
Demonstrate proficiency in both automatic and manual sewing techniques, showcasing expertise in working with various fabrics and leathers.
Utilize a range of Hand Tools, including Stapler, Heat Gun, Pliers, Needle Nose Pliers, Smoothing Boone, Scissors, and Exacta Knives.
Receive mylar patterns from the pattern maker and select appropriate materials in consultation with the pattern maker or customer.
Lay out and cut materials following specifications.
Sew covers to precise specifications under the guidance of the pattern maker, promptly addressing any issues that arise.
Skillfully sew various seams, including Deck Seams and Proper Butterfly French Seams.
Manage inventories and submit orders as needed.
Request maintenance for all machines to ensure optimal functionality.
Support compliance with Quality Policies.
Trim and wrap interior automotive components with precision.
Contribute to corporate continuous improvement initiatives.
Undertake any other duties as assigned.
