Technician - Mechanic

Environmental Products Group is a best-in-class municipal and infrastructure equipment distributor with multiple locations in the Southeast. This is an opportunity to join a growing team within our amazing company. The successful candidate will become an integral part of the Service team. We are currently looking for a Technician/Mechanic. This individual should be self-motivated and dedicated, with skills tailored toward multitasking, quality workmanship and attention to detail.

We are the VACTOR and ELGIN dealer seeking an experienced Technician/Mechanic in heavy trucks, refuse trucks, and equipment repairs.

Job description

Technicians will perform new vehicle pre-delivery and DOT inspections, hydraulic and pneumatic service and repairs, PTO and transfer case service and repairs, interface with truck and body CANBUS for diagnosis and service.

You must be motivated, reliable and have a strong sense of quality workmanship. You will also be responsible for:

· Customer relations

· Ability to read wiring diagrams and diagnose.

· Welding, cutting and light fabrication.

· Ability to be a Team Player and work on your own.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift with possible overtime
• Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person.

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience (Required)
• Driver’s License – Class B CDL preferred
• Hydraulic and pneumatic experience
• A/C certified, ASE/IMAA atc. ASE Heavy Truck or Auto Certifications preferred
