Job Description
As a Psychologist on Ellie Mental Healths Assessment Team, you'll share our vision for improving and expanding access to quality mental health care to kids, adolescents, and families, and thrive in an environment driven by our core values of authenticity, humor, compassion, creativity, acceptance, and determination.

The Assessment Team provides comprehensive psychological evaluations for diagnostic clarification, identifying treatment recommendations, and providing a framework for understanding clients emotions and behaviors. Assessment services are provided in person at our Minneapolis Assessment Clinic. We are currently accepting internal and external referrals for kids ages 2-17 for diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, intellectual disabilities, and differential diagnosis related to other mood and behavioral diagnoses. We are also accepting internal referrals for adults of all ages for diagnoses such as ADHD and/or autism spectrum disorder.

Essential Duties include:
  • Provide psychological evaluations for adults, children or adolescents including:
    • Select and conduct initial diagnostic assessments
    • Administer, score, and interpret psychological assessments
    • Write comprehensive reports of test results
    • Provide feedback in a timely manner
  • Completion of 4+ assessments per week in order to maintain full-time status
  • Interact with clients to assist them in gaining insight, defining goals, and planning action to achieve effective personal, social, educational, or vocational development and adjustment
  • Refer clients to specialists, institutions, and/or support services as necessary
  • Consult with or provide consultation to other therapists or clinicians regarding client care

Qualifications
  • Minnesota license or license-eligible psychologist
  • Doctorate degree in Psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited program with appropriate clinical training

  • Candidates will be best suited for this position of they have experience with evaluations for Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Successful completion of Post Doctorate training hours
  • Comfort and familiarity working authentically with a diverse client base
