Quality Laboratory Analyst

Job Description

Job Description Summary: Analyze finished products and raw materials at Nisus to ensure both active ingredient contents and product quality is within specification.

Core Tasks (One Task per Line):

• Use a range of software, techniques, and instruments to carry out analysis; techniques include HPLC UV-Vis, ICP-OES, XRF, wet titration, laser diffraction, and UV-Vis spectrophotometry.
• Perform quality audits & investigations
• Analyze and interpret data.
• Ensure data is accurately recorded in accordance with guidelines.
• Adhere to established health and safety standards including proper laboratory hygiene.
• Report and Present analytical results.
• Support research and procurement groups as needed with preparing samples, analyzing new matrices, and qualifying new suppliers.
• Assist department as needed with method development, quality program development, and other projects.
• Test chemical samples and incoming packaging for quality control.

Qualifications (Training/Education, Experience and Credentials):

• Bachelor’s or associate degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or related field
• No experience necessary; on-the-job training provided.
