Senior Web Developer

Vision IT is seeking a dynamic Senior Web Developer to support a Network Enterprise program in Fort Stewart, GA!

Responsibilities May Include (but are not limited to) the following:

• Develop web portal front ends, ensuring functionality, usability, and visual appeal.
• Coordinate database support, troubleshooting, and optimization for integrated web applications.
• Monitor activities, respond to security issues, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards.
• Design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and implement software code (HTML, CGI, JavaScript) for website components.
• Collaborate with graphic designers and project team members to develop site concepts, interface designs, and website architecture.
• Implement interfaces and integrate web applications with backend databases.
• Deploy large web-based transaction systems using application servers.
• Research, test, build, and integrate new products according to production and client requirements.
• Demonstrate strong navigation and site-design instincts to optimize user experience.

Required Education, Experience, Clearance and Certification(s):

• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.
• 6-10 years of experience in web development.
• Proven track record of designing and developing web portal front ends.
• Experience with database support, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Strong understanding of software code and web architecture.
• Previous experience deploying large web-based transaction systems.
• Demonstrated ability to research, test, and integrate new products.
• Excellent navigation and site-design instincts.
• Proficiency in web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CGI.
• Experience with database management systems and integration of web applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with graphic designers and project team members.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with application servers for deploying web-based transaction systems.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• IAT Level II Certs per DoD 8570
• Relative industry certification example: Azure Certification
