We are filling several Industrial Mechanic positions in the Duquesne area for overseeing the installation, maintenance and repairs of manufacturing machines, tools, equipment, and utility systems. Daylight shift with weekly pay and a starting rate of $26.50 an hour for this direct hire position.
Industrial Mechanic Role & Requirements:
- Oversees and performs preventative maintenance on all facility equipment.
- Leads production equipment repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Oversees facility maintenance of all incoming utilities, interior and exterior lighting, building security systems, fire protection systems, HVAC, and waste/recycling management.
- Researches the main down time contributors, provides an assessment and schedules required action plans to eliminate future issues.
- Promptly addresses emergency breakdowns including root cause assessment and ensures all repairs are completed in a timely fashion.
- Trains production workers on routine preventive maintenance.
- Prepares maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Ensures all employee accidents are investigated promptly and confirms reports are sent to management.
- 5+ years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is required; continuous Operations a plus.
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical blueprints is required.
- PLC programming experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of common power and hand tools is required.
- Metal fabrication skills to repair, modify, and build fixtures and equipment are required.
- Experience with electrical maintenance repair including low and high voltage equipment is required.
- Flexibility to work an altered schedule as needed, to accommodate business needs.
Industrial Mechanic Pay & Benefits:
- Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods during shift.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. & basic math skills.
- Daylight shift with weekly pay and a starting rate of $26.50 an hour.
