Behavior Technician for Autism

Below is a brief job description. 

Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Provide direct one-on-one behavioral therapy to individuals with developmental disabilities, primarily autism
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior using designated data collection methods
- Assist with diagnostic evaluations and assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including BCBA, therapists, and parents to develop and implement individualized treatment goals
- Follow all HIPAA guidelines and maintain confidentiality of client information
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and progress notes

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or related field preferred
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health is highly desired
- Familiarity with data collection methods and techniques used in behavioral therapy
- Understanding of autism spectrum disorders and evidence-based behavioral interventions
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
