Material Resource Analyst and Production Scheduler

General Responsibilities:

The Material Resource Analyst and Production Scheduler plays a key role in building schedules for multi-site manufacturing operations by working closely with Sales, Forecasting, Marketing, Logistics and our third-party turn-key suppliers to determine the optimal master schedule to support company sales. This function is critical to ensure that the business is operating to meet product delivery commitments to our customers. This role will review material availability and manufacturing capacity to coordinate and expedite the flow of materials according to production schedules. The Production Scheduler must be highly skilled at working with cross-functional departments to coordinate efforts and clear roadblocks which may interfere with the production schedule. The ideal candidate for this position should be experienced in scheduling and coordination within manufacturing operations, while possessing the ability to help drive on-time delivery of quality products to customers.

Responsibilities and Specific Duties:

· Execute the production plan laid out by the master planner based on actual and forecasted customer demand

· Review the material and supply demand for each fill location and coordinate transfers with the logistics team for the components to be at the fill location a month prior to the fill date

· Fill out the transfer request forms after reviewing the inventory availability of the components and pass it on the logistic team in a timely and accurate manner

· Lead scheduling/ production calls with the the contract and turnkey suppliers to analyze the production plan put together

· Communicate any change in the production through an open order report to the purchasing team to update the promise date systematically for MRP
