Field Service Technician

Responsibilities:

• Apply your expertise to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment failures of electrical and gasoline-powered lawn mowers and light-duty tractors directly in the field, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Execute seamless product deliveries, retrievals, and setups to provide uninterrupted service and maintenance to clients, fostering long-term relationships and loyalty.
• Generate accurate and timely work orders, parts orders, delivery reports, timesheets, and other necessary paperwork to facilitate efficient operations and documentation.
• Serve as a conduit of valuable information, communicating sales leads and customer feedback to the service manager, technical representatives, or designated sales professionals to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
• Manage and maintain all assigned company equipment, inventory, and tools to ensure optimal functionality and availability for service operations.
• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, preventative maintenance, and inspection protocols for assigned company vehicles and trailers, adhering to all state and local regulations while operating them.
• Fulfill any additional duties assigned by management, demonstrating adaptability and commitment to the team's success.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or diploma preferred, showcasing your commitment to mechanical proficiency.
• Experience: Possess multiple years of mechanical experience, with previous experience servicing lawn mowers, light-duty tractors, or similar equipment being highly beneficial.
• Possess an understanding of turf management principles, including the characteristics of grass on golf courses and the impacts of various low mowing equipment on turf health and vitality.
• Hold a valid driver's license and adhere to our client's policies and regulations, prioritizing safety and compliance at all times.
