Position Summary:
The AV Onsite Support Technician - III, plays a pivotal role within our team, closely collaborating with managers, fellow Avidex professionals, manufacturers, and clients to ensure the seamless operation and maintenance of audiovisual and IT systems at client sites. Success in this role relies on extensive expertise in audio, video, and control systems, complemented by a strong understanding of computer networks. Essential qualities for this position include meticulous attention to detail, punctuality, effective communication, and proficiency in supporting and maintaining audiovisual systems.
Key responsibilities entail delivering a heightened level of white-glove treatment services to assist in supporting, operating, and maintaining audiovisual and IT systems situated at our customers' facilities.
Responsibilities
- Providing client support for meetings and conferences;
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing all AV equipment, including video conference and audio DSPs, video walls, and projection;
- Providing preventative maintenance care to clients ensuring all systems are functioning efficiently;
- Diagnosing and resolving control system issues with remote support;
- Monitoring client's tracking system for repair requests and managing ticketed incidents to resolution;
- Plugging into Creston controllers and using Toolbox to make modifications to system settings;
- Installing and removing AV equipment and processing RMAs for warrantied repairs;
- Providing technical guidance and training to other team members;
- Ensuring all safety standards required by OSHA are implemented;
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates degree preferred
- 4 or more years of experience providing technical or onsite support within the AV/ IT industry;
- Must have an AVIXA CTS certification;
- Must attain a CompTIA ITF+ certification within one year;
- Ability to take initiative, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment;
- Strong computer skills including proficiency using Microsoft Windows and Apple software;
- Great communication and customer service skills;

- Accountability, emotional intelligence and integrity.
