We are currently looking for an Electronics Engineer to join our team in Kirkland, WA.

This role is full-time in-office. The pay range is $122,000-133,000/year. Primary Function: The Job Title is responsible for designing and evaluating electronic systems as well as producing and reviewing design documentation. Essential Job Functions - Responsibilities: Electronics Engineering: requirements assessment, embedded system architecture, component selection, design, simulation, review, schematic capture, PCB layout, manufacturing and assembly support, debug, test, and written reports and documentation. Utilize a variety of Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools (based on Customer demand) to capture schematics, lay out PCBAs, generate fabrication and assembly release packages, etc. Communicate directly or indirectly with customers in person or remotely (via phone, teleconference or email) to clarify requirements and concerns, provide project status updates. Design and analyze electronic devices to global standards and regulations, including (but not limited to) those for safety and electromagnetic compatibility. Follow department guidelines, standards, and processes, including the execution and facilitation of mandatory design reviews. Follow Business Technology policies to protect sensitive data and reduce information security occurrences Education and Experience: (Knowledge, skills, & abilities) Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent required Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience preferred Expert proficiency in professional Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools: Altium Designer strongly preferred. Operation of test equipment, including (but not limited) to: oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, power supplies, electronic loads. Proficiency in Design for Manufacture (DFM), Electrical Safety, Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) including Electrostatic Discharge (ESD), Signal Integrity (SI), and Power Integrity (PI). Demonstrated mastery of embedded digital and analog electronic system design and PCB layout best practices. Strong written and verbal English language communication skills. Excellent teamwork/interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, both within and outside one's own work group. Demonstrate commitment and adherence to SIGMADESIGN Core Values. Pass a post-offer background verification. Work Environment Standard office environment with normal amounts of office related conditions.

Occasionally may be required to work in environmental conditions that emulate typical user environments in order to facilitate design testing and validation.
