Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Data Analyst to join our team on a remote basis. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in Data Management, Data Governance, and Data Quality activities. This role is crucial for implementing and maintaining advanced data management tools, focusing on enhancing our data governance frameworks and ensuring high-quality data standards across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage data management tools including data quality tools, business/technical metadata catalogs, and master data management processes.
• Lead master data management projects, specifically focusing on disambiguating company or personal data.
• Develop and maintain datasets from diverse sources to support data governance initiatives.
• Conduct data mining on extensive datasets to drive improvements in data governance and quality.
• Utilize SQL and Python to manage relational and non-relational databases, with a preference for experience in graph and other NoSQL databases.
• Apply data quality frameworks effectively across the data lifecycle.
• Drive initiatives for data quality enhancement and issue resolution.
• Engage in process improvement, workflow optimization, benchmarking, and evaluation of business processes.
• Write and maintain documentation for functional requirements, data quality rules, and policy definitions.
• Install, configure, and manage data catalog tools such as Calibra, Reltio, and Elation; experience with Informatica is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Data Management, Governance, and Quality, including reporting on large datasets and delivering on project milestones.
• Strong practical knowledge of master data management tools and their implementation.
• Advanced skills in SQL and Python, with hands-on experience in various database technologies.
• Demonstrated capability in managing and configuring data governance and catalog tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
