Purpose:

The Copywriter role is responsible for producing, editing, and delivering content that’s compelling, easy to understand, on-brand, leverages SEO best practices, and is backed by data and research. This role will bring creativity and expertise by creating and testing copy that attracts and converts customers through all stages of the sales process. The copywriter role creates and develops compelling and impactful messaging for the Edible brand across various platforms and mediums.

What that looks like day to day (10 or less):

Conceptualize and execute sound creative ideas for marketing collateral in a manner that elevates the brand and aligns with strategic goals
Craft precise, compelling copy that meets the specific requirements of the brief
Collaborate with team members to develop and refine concepts, campaigns, and creative ideas that reflect a deep understanding of our audience
Work with design, production, and front-end development partners to ensure each project’s creative vision is achieved
Partner with product and brand teams to establish voice and tone guidelines for various marketing channels
Test performance metrics to track the efficiency of written copy
Propose creative copy concepts as you find opportunities and revise development processes for efficient workflows
