We are adding this new role to our IT Team. We recently started working with a third-party desktop support service provider called a Managed Service Provider (MSP). This role will be the key interface between our company's hardware/software needs and standards, and our MSP. It's more of a project management role than desktop support.

This role will require 2 in-office days weekly in Denver.

IT Support Coordinator Overview:

Support IT with a focus on organization, communication, training, and collaboration. Responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of organizational systems, processes, and audits for all company-issued hardware and software, coordinating with and supporting our outsourced IT vendor, and supporting active engagement and training with all internal users. Reports to the Technology Director.

Engagement with Managed Service Provider
  • Collaborate with 3rd party Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to ensure smooth progression of help desk tickets.
  • Provide guidance for users regarding IT related requests.
  • Review and keep updated shared processes with our MSPs and users.

Process development and user support:
  • Develop and maintain organizational systems for company issued hardware and software.
  • Support continuous improvement on developing IT related processes and training.
  • Facilitate an excellent IT onboarding experience for new users, including hardware set up.
  • Support MSPs, users, Team Leads, and HR in internal role transition and offboarding IT needs.
  • Assist in budgetary audits, tracking of expenditures, and cost-cutting solutions.

Hardware:
  • Provide hardware support for in-office hardware, user laptops, conference spaces, etc..
  • Manage hardware inventory and procurement.
  • Collaborate with MSPs on hardware troubleshooting and provisioning/reprovisioning of devices.
  • Support hardware end of life planning, budgeting, and turnover.

Software:
  • Support use and development of Microsoft O365 suite of applications.
  • Engage in Salesforce support and collaboration with our MSP.
  • Perform regular software audits and maintain active software inventories.
  • Support user access/troubleshooting for various software applications.

Qualifications:
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS and applications
  • Experience in project management.
  • Highly organized with excellent communication skills.
  • Familiarity with IT help desk support

Work Location

This position will support both our Boulder and Denver locations with 2 in-office days in Denver weekly.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Position is Full-time, Monday - Friday
  • Compensation starts at $25-28 per hour, with a salary review after 6 months
