6:45am to 7:00pm (rotated schedule)
Introduction statement:
Our client in Frankfort, IL is seeking self-motivated individuals with job longevity and great attention to detail. This automotive company serves all the major automotive OEMS and their suppliers with plastic fasteners.
Responsibilities:
- Perform quality inspections and package products from a group of injection molding machines during 12-hour shifts.
- Operate auxiliary equipment, including packaging and assembly machinery.
- Inspect products as per work instructions, reporting and recording findings accurately.
- Label and package products in compliance with work instructions and customer requirements.
- Participate in housekeeping and 5S activities, ensuring a clean and organized work area.
- Climb ladders and perform other tasks as required to meet production goals.
- Collaborate with team members and report to the Manufacturing Cell Leader/Supervisor.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. for 50% of the shift.
- Good housekeeping skills, adhering to 5S principles.
- Ability to read and understand written procedures and instructions.
- A solid work record with a strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
