New Product Introduction & Implementation (NPI) Team in Dublin, Georgia.

Main Function

We are looking for an analytically minded person with strong technical skills. Our Production Engineering & Data Analyst will be responsible for the optimization of our production processes, production layout improvements and maintaining master data in the management system. The objective of the role is maximize the Dinex Emission Inc.’s production and manufacturing systems capabilities for the manufacture of exhaust and aftertreatment systems for the heavy-duty truck industry.

As a member of the Dinex Emission, Inc. NPI Team, the Production Engineering & Data Analyst will be responsible for maintaining, expanding and providing continuous improvement of Dinex Emission, Inc.’s data maintenance program across the business. The successful candidate will provide data consolidation, monitor/validate and load system data, provide end user support to ensure seamless end to end production processes and manufacturing process improvements for our engineered exhaust components and aftertreatment systems, miscellaneous hardware and related accessories.

Tasks

  • Work closely with our manufacturing team building strong relationships
  • Manipulate large data files by populating data into master templates
  • Extract relevant data from sources and integrate complex data
  • Analyze production data to formulate relevancies and priorities to develop a comprehensive solutions-based portfolio
  • Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions while identifying opportunities for process improvements throughout the production life cycle
  • Possess knowledge of end-to-end data processes to analyze, cleanse and enrich data elements, and ensure that data flows efficiently and consistently between users and stakeholders
  • Troubleshoots issues related to master data management and identifies opportunities for improving management processes
  • Prepare documentation for process and work instructions for production
  • Collect, analyze and present performance data for daily/weekly/monthly production meetings
  • Identify and implement optimizations in production based on Lean principles
  • Conduct Kaizen workshops for production area improvements
  • Support with production layout analysis and changes

Experience and Skills for Success

  • Strong experience in Lean, 5S, Kaizen tools, and continuous improvement in a production environment
  • Uses knowledge of end-to-end production flow and data processes to analyze, cleanse and enrich data elements, and ensure that data flows efficiently and consistently between users and stakeholders
  • Troubleshoots issues related to master data management and identifies opportunities for improving data management processes
  • Ability to produce ad hoc data and reports to capture production operations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Self-motivated with ability to handle assignments under minimum supervision.
  • Must possess good written and oral presentation skills and the ability to communicate ideas effectively to co-workers, senior management

Requirements – Essential Knowledge and Skills

  • BS degree in a technical area (e.g. Engineering, Mathematics, or Science based discipline ) or significant relevant coursework1 to 3 years’ experience in production environment working with master data and implementing LEAN tools, projects, and programs with a proven track record of success (5S, KAIZEN, SMED, VSM/VSD, Visual management)
  • Strong analytic thought process and ability to interpret findings · Highly motivated and collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Effective organization and time management skills
  • Attention to detail
