Position

The Learning Technology Data Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the implementation and management of learning technologies and data systems within the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of educational data, as well as providing technical support and training to users. The Learning Technology Data Coordinator reports to the Director of Technology.

Requirements:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Data Management

  • Manage and maintain educational data systems, databases, and learning management platforms.
  • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of educational data, including student records, course materials, and assessment data.
  • Develop and implement data quality assurance procedures to identify and resolve data discrepancies or errors.
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and access controls for learning management systems and other educational platforms.
  • Coordinate system updates, upgrades, and maintenance activities in collaboration with IT and other stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in educational technology and data management

Reporting and Analysis

  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support decision-making and program improvements.
  • Coordinate completion of the technology survey across the network.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop custom reports and dashboards to meet specific needs.

Technical Support

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technical support related to learning technologies and data systems.
  • Troubleshoot issues, provide guidance, and escalate technical problems as needed to ensure timely resolution.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, user guides, and training materials for learning technologies and data systems.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure effective utilization of learning technologies.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for users on the use of learning technologies and data systems.

Perform other duties, as assigned.


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • Unwavering commitment to the organization, its mission, and core values.
  • Strong understanding of learning management systems (LMS), student information systems (SIS), and educational data standards.
  • Ability to work with multiple technologies and learn new systems quickly.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and solve problems effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of public education and charter school movement, preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (related work experience can substitute Bachelor’s degree).
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Demonstrated project management experience, as related to educational technology, data management, or related areas.
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience in charter schools, preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of desk work and computer use.
  • Motor coordination and finger dexterity for keyboarding and other tasks.
  • Occasional lifting of objects up to twenty pounds.
  • Ability to access and navigate various facilities within the organization.

Compensation


The salary range for this position is $75,000-$80,000. Salary is commensurate with experience, education, and expertise. A competitive benefits package is also offered.


This is a full-time, exempt, 100% in-person position.
