Tharros is actively pursuing an opportunity to support the Air Force Mission Assurance Construct Support (MACS) program, providing mission analysis, base assessment support, and data platform management services that strengthen the Air Force's Mission Assurance Construct.

Tharros is seeking experienced Mission Analysts to perform mission analysis, critical infrastructure analysis, and ongoing identification, validation, revalidation, and continuous improvement activities in direct support of AF/A33B.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or support mission decomposition to identify mission-essential functions, tasks, capabilities, and operational dependencies.
  • Analyze how missions rely on systems, infrastructure, personnel, facilities, supply chains, and external partners to ensure mission success.
  • Identify mission-critical assets, systems, and infrastructure, including single points of failure and operational risks.
  • Develop mission maps, dependency models, and data visualizations that support Air Force Mission Assurance planning and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Combatant Commands, MAJCOMs, installations, and mission owners to validate mission requirements, dependencies, and critical capabilities.
  • Conduct criticality analysis to determine the importance of mission assets, systems, and capabilities using structured analytical methodologies.
  • Support recurring validation and maintenance of Mission Assurance data in accordance with DoDI 3020.45 and Air Force guidance.
  • Participate in Mission Assurance Assessment Team (MAAT) activities, including pre-site surveys, stakeholder interviews, site visits, and structured data collection.
  • Analyze assessment results to identify vulnerabilities, operational dependencies, enterprise trends, and mission risk across Air Force organizations.
  • Apply data analytics, systems engineering, AI/ML, or quantitative methods to improve Mission Assurance assessments and identify actionable insights.
  • Prepare executive-level reports, briefings, dashboards, and decision-support products for senior Air Force leadership.
  • Integrate mission, assessment, and risk data into Government-approved Mission Assurance platforms to support enterprise-wide analysis.
  • Support enterprise Mission Assurance risk management, including risk prioritization, mitigation planning, and development of courses of action (COAs).
  • Coordinate with Government stakeholders to improve Mission Assurance processes, data quality, governance, and cross-organizational collaboration.
  • Serve as a trusted analytical resource supporting Air Force Mission Assurance strategy, mission resilience, and operational readiness.
