Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate II will be responsible for accurately picking product within the warehouse. This position will also be responsible for verifying that the correct quantity, batch, and expiration date of each item are selected based on the order requirements. Once the product has been selected and verified, the Warehouse Associate II will be responsible for preparing the product for shipment via the warehouse pack stations.

Essential Job Functions

  • Utilize D365 to accurately locate and pick items based on the pick ticket to ensure that batch numbers, item numbers, and specified quantities all match the picking ticket.
  • Adhere strictly to warehouse operating procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with warehouse leadership, inventory controllers, and other team members to resolve any discrepancies or issues identified during picking.
  • Maintain accurate records of picked orders, ensuring proper documentation and data entry within the D365 system.
  • Conduct thorough audits of orders, meticulously comparing batch numbers, item numbers, and quantities against pick tickets to guarantee accuracy prior to shipping.
  • Work closely with inventory control, shipping clerks, and shipping coordinators to resolve any discrepancies or issues identified during the verification process.
  • Pack items in a manner that is presentable to customers and provides adequate protection against damage during shipping. Adhere strictly to packing procedures, following company standards and guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of packed orders and ensure proper documentation is completed.
  • Identify areas for process improvements in order picking, verification, and packing methods to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to always ensure a safe working environment.
  • Complete all other tasks assigned by the warehouse leadership team as requested.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar warehouse management systems.
  • Forklift experience is preferred.

Physical Requirements

Performing the duties of this position requires the ability to stand/walk for an 8+ hour shift. Candidate must have the ability to lift and move 50+ pounds. Vision requirements include the ability for close vision, to adjust focus, and to color code.

Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate but can be moderate to loud when on the production or warehouse floor.
