Global Product Manager - Soil Enzymes

Elemental Enzymes is looking for a Global Product Manager- within the Soil Enzymes group to lead product advancement in our Commercial Department. The successful candidate will join a team that is passionate about creating sustainable, biochemical-based solutions to agricultural challenges.

Job Description

  • Aid the global account leader in the development of the three-year business strategy and is accountable for year one execution plans.
  • Manage pricing, forecast, and partnering with global account lead on customer interactions.
  • Lead portfolio presentations at sales launch with commercial teams (internal & external).
  • Technical Marketing Management: lead interactions with third party marketing teams and branding strategy, oversee additional third-party market studies with partners.
  • LCM: Life Cycle Management: work with commercial, regulatory, and marketing team to begin strategizing near the time of the launch.
  • Manage expenses and budgets assigned to the position and coordinate external budget with external partners/customers.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to set clear objectives for development, manufacturing, and regulatory activity in order to deliver on products.
  • Manage all contracts and agreements to accurately create a long-range plan for scaling and forecasting future product needs.
  • Define, develop and implement marketing promotion programs (e.g. branding, PR and communication initiatives) as part of the overall marketing plan for the assigned segments in close collaboration with Marketing Communication;
  • Coordinate and execute competitor analyses, including technical studies with internal and external products.
  • Attend Tradeshows and conferences to ensure a strong product and brand presence.
  • Work closely with Technical Sales Reps to transfer product knowledge for the training of customers.
  • Manage all COGS and work with the finance department to ensure accuracy. Work with financial to update and calculate COGS.
  • Work closely with regulatory to ensure state registrations are completed to ensure product deadlines.
  • Provide general support for all commercial products.


Required Experience
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, agriculture, economics or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of Sales/Management/Marketing or related experience in the agricultural Industry
  • Strong understanding of crop development and the use of products to enhance production
  • Proven Track record in Strategic Decision Making
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to use technology and analysis tools (Excel, Outlook, web, databases)


Preferred Experience or Skills
  • Understanding of commercial seed treatment business Knowledge of fertilizer industry and common practices
  • Experience with project management software (Wrike, NetSuite, etc)


Physical Requirements
