Warehouse/Material Handler Assistant
- Full-Time
We are currently looking for a Warehouse/Material Handler Assistant. This role includes providing support to the shipping dept in processing parts for delivery to suppliers and customers of the company.
- Pull, pack and organize product for delivery from and receipt into the warehouse.
- Manually load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms, or lifting devices.
- Stock and maintain inventory items in designated warehouse storage areas.
- Weigh materials or products and record weight and other production data on tags and labels.
- Clean and maintain supplies, tools and equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
- Other duties as assigned.
High school education or equivalent and 2-3 years of experience in warehouse functions. Forklift training and certification a strong plus.
· Physical Requirements:
Moderate Physical Demand: Continuously lifting or moving light weight material; frequently lifting or moving average weight material; rarely lifting or moving heavy weight material.
