ITRegulators, Inc. is on the lookout for a "Superstar" IT Support Specialist to join our IT support team. The ideal IT Support Specialist should be a highly motivated, autonomous professional with outstanding communication skills, capable of providing sophisticated system planning, implementation, support, and troubleshooting services.
CORE RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Supporting and maintaining our client's IT computing environment by providing onsite Network / system support; identifying system improvements; upgrading, installing, configuring systems and monitoring system performance
- Responsible for the successful completion and customer satisfaction of assigned projects
- Individual research, communication and resolution of escalated tickets on complex issues
- Review and schedule resources to complete assigned priority projects and tickets
- Provide accurate, concise follow-up communication to internal resources and customer resources
- Individual time entries and expenses for customer work must be accurate, complete and professional
- Meet objectives set by your manager and maintain a high daily utilization rate that management communicates
OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Troubleshooting support of server infrastructure (File/Print, Active Directory, and Application) as well as maintain desktop, printer, and peripherals
- Implement new functionality for supported products
- Speak and interact intelligently at an appropriate technical level for the audience being addressed. Must be comfortable dealing with the various levels within the customer’s organization, including Chief Executive Officer
- Provide accurate, clear, and concise guidance, knowledge, training, and documentation to clients
- Assume responsibility for ensuring that a quality job is done right the first time
- Recommend alternative processes to improve service delivery to the customer environment in a cost-effective way
- Assume additional responsibilities as required
IT Systems - IT Support Specialist
QUALIFICATIONS:
- - A minimum of 5 to 7 years' experience in system support, issue resolution, and customer relations.
- - Capability to maintain professionalism under pressure.
- - Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
- - Highly detail-oriented.
- - Ability to work effectively within a team.
Education and/or Formal Training:
- Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent industry certifications
- MCSE preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
- Microsoft Products: Maintain and support - Windows Server 2003/2008/20XX, Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, DNS, Windows 7, Windows 10, and experience in applying Service Packs
- Apple IOS Products, Apple ID and Apple Business Manager
- Experience with Backup and Recovery solutions
Protocols:
- Working knowledge of protocols such as TCP/IP and SNMP
- LAN technologies: Working knowledge of shared and switched Ethernet; Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet, knowledge of Cisco firewalls and routers would be a benefit
- Monitoring/Remote Support: Experience in remote monitoring of server performance and remote client support
- Strong written communication skills required for preparing appropriate documentation for requirements definition, desktop/server planning, network operating system, and evaluations/recommendations
- Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel and Visio are required
- Ability to work on assignments that are complex in nature and where considerable judgment and initiative are required in implementation and problem resolution
- Project Coordination experience is a benefit
- Ability to provide technical direction and implement customer solutions accurately, in a timely fashion, utilizing standard methodologies that satisfy customer requirements
Salary:
$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 /Year
