Doggy Daycare Attendant - NO NIGHTS, WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAYS!!

Are you a dog lover that loves to be outside? Do you enjoy working with people too? If so, then Zen Dog Daycare is looking for you! This position is for someone to primarily work outdoors monitoring and playing with groups of dogs next to beautiful Shem Creek but does include some office work as well.

However, before we get down to business, allow us to introduce ourselves! We are a well established, privately owned (No corporate craziness here!) doggy daycare located in the Old Village district of Mount Pleasant. We share a building with Pet Vet and both businesses are owned by the colorful Dr. Brian King. He has created a culture here that values dedication mixed with side of fun and lightheartedness. We pride ourselves on having a team where everyone brings something different to the table that complements each others strengths. To encourage unity and team building, multiple after hours team building outings are offered during the year. Some past examples are pottery painting, visiting the Van Gogh Experience that came to Charleston, a yearly private sunset costume cruise in October, various concerts and much more! Because work/life balance is a priority, time off is encouraged and respected so those outing are never required, just offered. Responsibilities include:

• Monitoring (and playing with) dogs in the outdoor space
• Assisting with cleaning/office maintenance chores
• Invoicing and customer service
• Bathing/light grooming of dogs

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of dog body language
• Experience working with dogs personally or professionally
• Experience bathing/grooming dogs

Schedule/Shifts:

• We are open 7am-6pm Mon-Fri
• WE ARE CLOSED EVERY SAT, SUN
• WE CLOSE FOR ALL MAJOR HOLIDAYS and WE PAY 10hrs OF HOLIDAY PAY for those days
