Job DescriptionCompany Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of functional status and physical abilities using standardized assessments and patient interviews.
- Treatment Planning: Develop and implement effective treatment plans with measurable goals tailored to patients’ needs, incorporating input from other healthcare professionals.
- Therapeutic Interventions: Utilize therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other modalities to improve patients' mobility, strength, and coordination.
- Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other therapists to coordinate treatment and provide holistic care.
- Patient and Family Education: Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery and prevent recurrence.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and legally compliant documentation of all patient care, including assessments, treatments, and patient progress.
- Professional Development: Stay current with new therapies and technologies in physical/occupational therapy through continuing education and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Current credentialing with major insurance companies
- Education: Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
- Licensure: Current OT license in the state of [State].
- Experience: [2] years of experience in physical/occupational therapy, preferably in a multi-specialty or hospital setting.
- Certifications: Additional certifications related to physical or occupational therapy specialties are desirable (e.g., Orthopedic, Neurological, Geriatric).

- Adaptability: Capable of working in a dynamic environment and adjusting to varying patient needs and health statuses.
- Technological Proficiency: Comfortable using medical software for documentation and patient management.
- Current credentialing with major insurance companies
