Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of functional status and physical abilities using standardized assessments and patient interviews.
• Treatment Planning: Develop and implement effective treatment plans with measurable goals tailored to patients’ needs, incorporating input from other healthcare professionals.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Utilize therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other modalities to improve patients' mobility, strength, and coordination.
• Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other therapists to coordinate treatment and provide holistic care.
• Patient and Family Education: Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery and prevent recurrence.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely, and legally compliant documentation of all patient care, including assessments, treatments, and patient progress.
• Professional Development: Stay current with new therapies and technologies in physical/occupational therapy through continuing education and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Current credentialing with major insurance companies

• Education: Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Licensure: Current OT license in the state of [State].
