Full-Time Lead Occupational Therapist (OT) – Skilled Nursing Facility (Queens, NY)

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Lead Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation team at a Skilled Nursing Facility in Queens, NY. This position is ideal for an Occupational Therapist who enjoys leadership, collaboration, and supporting clinical excellence while remaining actively involved in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Rehab Director in the supervision and support of the rehabilitation department, including occupational, physical, and speech therapists, as well as therapy aides

• Provide leadership, mentorship, and clinical guidance to therapy staff

• Support team members with patient care needs, treatment planning, and problem-solving

• Help ensure efficient department operations and adherence to facility policies and procedures

• Collaborate with the Rehab Director regarding scheduling and departmental needs

• Promote compliance with regulatory requirements and documentation standards

• Maintain a partial clinical caseload as determined by the Rehab Director

• Support quality, accuracy, and timeliness of clinical documentation

Qualifications

• Valid New York Occupational Therapist (OT) license

• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred
