Job Description - Boba Barista

Are you passionate about Boba Tea and providing excellent customer service? We are seeking a skilled Boba Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of Boba Tea beverages and providing exceptional customer experiences. In addition, you will also be responsible for the state of the store and inventory management as required. Ultimately, you’ll ensure an excellent dining experience for our guests.

Duties:

• Boba Barista responsibilities include educating customers on our drinks menu, making recommendations based on their preference
• Take orders while paying attention to details (i.e. preferences of tea blend, dairy and sugar ratios)
• Prepare beverages following recipes
• Customer service skills and knowledge of how brewing equipment operates.
• You should be able to work various weekday shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee and tea beverages
• Operate point-of-sales system and handle transactions accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and preparation
• Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
• Provide friendly and efficient customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction

Skills:

- Strong math skills for cash handling and register operations
- Knowledge of basic math principles for measuring ingredients and calculating recipe proportions
- Experience with operating point-of-sale systems
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate preparation of food and beverages
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Previous experience in the food service or retail industry is preferred
