Position Summary:

IEM is looking for a Full Time- Contract Administrator to assist with the company's contracts.

Primary Location:

  • San Juan, PR
  • Position will be a fully in office role, we cannot accommodate remote work from home.

Travel Requirements:

  • Currently None

Essential Functions:

  • Provide contracts support for assigned contracts, subcontracts, task orders, and proposals.
  • Analyze solicitations and provide advice regarding potential risks and strategies.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of and prepare nondisclosure agreements, teaming agreements, contracts, and subcontracts in accordance with industry best practices and corporate risk policies, within the limits of authority delegated by senior management.
  • Review invoices for compliance with contract terms and conditions
  • Ensure appropriate documentation is acquired and entered into corporate databases in a timely manner; conduct analyses and compile reports as required.
  • Assist with contract audits.
  • Build and maintain relationships with procurement officials, subcontractors, and IEM team members.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal, state, and local law by reviewing existing and new regulations; anticipating regulations; enforcing adherence to regulations; and advising management on requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the physical constraints of the job

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
  • Two (2) years of experience in contract administration
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in business administration or related field
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • National Contract Management Association (NCMA) certification
  • Experience with Deltek Costpoint
  • Knowledge of accounting and grant management
