Job Summary:

Tryfacta is seeking a Human Resources Specialist (Recruiting Specialist) for our client in Oakland, CA 94612. This is a temporary contract assignment. If you meet the qualifications listed below and are interested, please Apply Now!

Position Title: Human Resources Specialist (Recruiting Specialist)
Location: Oakland, CA 94612
Duration: {270 hours to 960 hours}
Work Schedule: M-F 8:15 AM to 5:00 PM
 

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Duties:
  Sending out Email Blasts/Posting to External sites.
  o Serve as a liaison for HR department partners and other departments.
  o Manage employment inbox and voicemail daily (Specialists and Supervisors)
  o Go Card - Collecting invoices and putting together spreadsheet for AP every month.
  o Preparing interview material folders and tent cards daily (onsite and virtual). Sending out invites to candidates and panel members. Collecting panel sheets, inputting scores and updating to requisitions in Employee Connect and NeoGov. Conduct test runs with candidates before their interview.
  o New Hire Orientation - Preparing handout materials /books, managing inventory and requesting ORP and Union books. Sending out New Hire Distribution email to all authorized recipients. Adding calendar invites to Presenter schedules.
  o Process I-9 docs for New Hires weekly that get sent to Department of Homeland Security/U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
  o Inputting completion of New Hire Orientation into Pathlore Portal as well as notifying the Substance Abuse Team.
  o Collecting Bid Forms and attaching or creating to employee's application.
  o Processing Backgrounds into the Backgrounds Online portal. Reaching out to candidates for missing information or to request additional references.
  o Setting up Concentra Medical appointments and following up on clearances.
  o Collecting Drug and Alcohol Release Forms and checking for clearances on the spreadsheet.
  o Assisting recruiters with testing's onsite and offsite (signing applicants in and proctoring)
  o Processing Office Supply requests for all of HR in addition to keeping supply closet/file room organized.
  o Serves as backup for Receptionist when Receptionist is out of office.

• High level experience in Screening Candidates is preferrable.
