Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior WordPress Developer to join our team as a contract hourly role. As a Senior WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites for our clients. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in WordPress development, including custom plugin development, theme development, and WordPress site optimization. The Senior WordPress Developer should also have experience in leading development teams, and be able to mentor and train junior developers.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain WordPress websites for clients
• Develop custom WordPress plugins and themes
• Optimize WordPress websites for performance and speed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
• Mentor and train junior developers
• Stay up to date with WordPress developments and new technologies

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in WordPress development
• Experience in developing custom WordPress plugins and themes
• Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Experience with WordPress site optimization and speed optimization
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience in leading development teams is a plus
• Experience working in a contractor capacity a plus
