Job Summary

The Financial Analyst will support operation and financial management personnel in the analysis and reporting of business activities. The position delivers analysis as a part of the financial process, linking financial results to operational performance drivers.

Job Responsibilities

  • Continuously works to analyze, modify, and adjust data exercising discretion and judgement for SEC reporting requirements.
  • Load data on monthly and quarterly basis to consolidating software.
  • Prepare and coordinate supporting schedules for the consolidation software.
  • Prepare consolidated financial statements, considering and interpreting multiple currencies.
  • Design and implement financial reporting standards.
  • Analyze financial statement components. Review income statement and balance sheet component accounts for consistent use and application.
  • Report and analyze schedules for annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Provide support in month end closing, productivity calculations, and profitability reporting.
  • Compile, analyze and summarize data for managerial decision making.
  • Assist with reconciling statutory and global books.
  • Design templates using report writing software to capture financial data and make reporting and analyzing more efficient.
  • Supply decision support through financial modeling and management reporting based on financials.
  • Understand the root cause of variances and recommend solution or corrections.
  • Evaluate financial implications of business decisions and opportunities.
  • Research and apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Lead audit team, prepare audit schedules and analyses.
  • Exhibit exemplary attendance.
  • Protecting themselves and their co-workers by adhering to all company safety & health policies
  • Must work with the EHS department to ensure all local, state, and federal regulatory agencies requirements are met; OSHA, NFPA, DNR, EPA and Amphenol sustainability practices.
  • Must work with the Quality department to ensure all quality standards are met for AS9100 certification.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education:
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 Years of Accounting and Management experience OR
  • an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • CPA certification preffered

Physical:
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, stooping, twist, reach, reach overhead.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 0-25lbs. frequently

Other:

Availability for meetings outside of core business hours.

Knowledge:

Administration and Management - Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.

Clerical - Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography, and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.

Economics and Accounting - Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.

English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.

Mathematics - Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
