Licensed Massage Therapist

As a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience, a strong understanding of holistic health, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency in massage techniques, Therapeutic Massage, Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Massage, Lymphatic Massage,. Empathy and strong communication skills are essential for this role. This candidate will also be trained in the use of low-level Aura PTL II Laser Therapy into daily treatment. This will afford he therapist a balance between Massage Therapy and Laser treatments. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
•    Provide therapeutic massage and bodywork services to clients according to their needs and preferences.
•    Ability and willingness to incorporate low-level PTL II Laser treatments, using acupressure points, for our patients. Training will be provided.
•    Ability to collaborate with other practitioners to develop and implement treatment plans.
•    Maintain accurate records of treatment sessions and client progress.
•    Communicate effectively with clients about their treatment plans and progress.
•    Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of patient treatment spaces throughout scheduled shift.
•    Ensure reception areas are tidy and comfortable and welcoming throughout the day.
•    Demonstrate a positive, compassionate attitude when working with patients.
•    Providing patient support and education as needed or requested.
•    Respect and maintain privacy and dignity of patients, ensuring patient confidentiality at all times.
•    Establish effective and professional communication and rapport with staff members, patients and all visitors.
•    Empathy: Ability to connect with patients
•    Participate in staff and educational meetings/trainings as requested.
•    Follow all clinic guidelines and requirements.

Qualifications / Requirements:
•    Current license in State of WI as a Massage Therapist
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
•    Physical ability to perform Massage and Laser therapy for extended periods of time,
•    A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, and Lymphatic Massage.
•    Nice to have:  A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Reflexology, Myofascial Release, Cranial Sacral Massage, Trigger Point Massage or Deep Tissue Massage.

•    This position is a contracted and part-time.
