Test Technician

Position           :           Technician

Location         :           Camarillo, CA 93010

Duration         :           12 Months (Possible extension)

Shift                :           2nd shift 3.00 PM to 11:30 PM

Pay Rate : $18.00/hr. on W2

RESPONSIBILITIES

The test technician is responsible for performing electrical and mechanical testing on engineering prototypes and production samples to qualify aerospace interconnect products.

·       Visually inspects components and assemblies for conformance to product standards.

·       Reviews and understands electrical and mechanical test procedures.

·       Operates and maintains test equipment.

·       Collects and analyzes test data.

·       Executes test programs on schedule through collaboration with engineers and third-party test labs.

·       Incorporates changes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and safety of test procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

·       High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

·       Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a test lab environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

·       Knowledge of industry test standards (i.e., EIA, MIL-STD)

·       Experience with general electrical test equipment such as power supplies, multimeters, etc.

·       Experience with soldering and wiring.

·       Experience in an Aerospace testing and quality environment.
