Responsibilities
•Develop and maintain referral partner relationships
•Take and process applications from borrowers
•Guide borrowers through the mortgage process for home purchases and refinances
•Research competitive mortgage rates and interest rates, and negotiate terms to find ideal mortgage product and lender for potential borrowers
•Ensure a smooth mortgage process by working with the borrower's real estate agent, mortgage professionals such as closing agents, and financial institution department underwriters
Qualifications
•NMLS license is required before start date
•Possess an advanced understanding of different loan products, such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/ fixed, commercial loans, etc.
•College degree in finance or banking preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required
•Ability to effectively work in a strong team-oriented environment and provide outstanding communication and customer service to clients
•Proficiency in MS Office required; CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred
•NMLS license or training is not required, but is desired
