Manufacturing Production Manager

Custom Machining Corporation is the world’s foremost supplier of Rotary End Liners to the canning industry; which provides safe, economical and recyclable containers for food and beverage. CMC is looking to add a new member to our team.
We are currently looking for a Production Manager for our Englewood, CO location.
SUMMARY:
Responsible for scheduling production of the customer orders - as generated by the planning system.
Coordinates and expedites flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between departments and
workcenters by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Other duties may be assigned.
• Maintains reports.
• Releases production orders.
• Cross-train in shipping, receiving, and purchasing.
• Communicates with all departments and management team.
• Maintains ERP system data.
• Maintains PC quality system data - NCMR's and CAPA's.
• Processes ECNs and Bill of Material line revisions.
• Maintains all top-level (parent) production order information and dates.
• Processes Engineering Change Notice - from a manufacturing perspective.
• Expedites production orders - per the Operations Manager's direction.
• Cycle count
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: including Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• AA degree or equivalent experience
• Excellent organization skills
• Competency in using Personal Computer
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite
• Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
• Experience with MRP preferred
• Good communication skills
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Must be fluent in English with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret manufacturing drawings, technical
journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Must be able to respond to inquiries or complaints from
employees, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Uses addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of numbers including decimals and fractions. Uses
simple formulae, charts, tables, drawings, specifications, schedules. Checks reports, forms, records and
comparable data where interpretation is required involving basic skills knowledge.
REASONING ABILITY:
Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations
where only limited standardization exists. Must be able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in
written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
