Job Description
This is a remote position.
100% remote Java 11 Technical Architect contractors needed
-20hours/week
-Must be available 12-5pm EST, may require attendance at meetings earlier than 12pm EST.
Pay is MONTHLY via direct deposit

This position is only open to 1099 or C2C candidates.
Skills required:
The technical architect would be embedded in a team that includes:
- Project manager
- Development manager
- Front-end and back-end developers
Currently used core technologies:
-Spring Boot 2.7.6 with Java 11 (Maven as builder)
-PostgreSQL (+MongoDB potentially)
-AWS (computing, storage, database, networking, etc.)
-Payload CMS
-NextJS
Experience in the following is needed:
-Understanding of software development processes.
-Analyzing business requirements.
-Choosing proper architecture and evolution of the product.
-Selecting proper technology stacks, frameworks, etc.
-Designing components and their interactions (interfaces).
-Documenting (and maintaining) all architectural decisions (data models, patterns, diagrams, code standards).
-Assessing risks.
Qualifications
Must be available to work in US time zones
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Minimum 5 years Java Technical Architect and related technology
