A/R Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounts receivable function for our Construction, Plumbing, and Restoration divisions. 

• Communicate with Customers for PO/WTN numbers
• Enter Invoices in portals for payments
• Manage customer accounts, including tracking outstanding balances and ensuring timely payments
• Perform follow up procedures on all invoices with customers
• Update all job status of closed jobs in Quickbooks
• Complete vendor packets
• Request/send Insurance documentations and W9 for Customers
• Renew all Customer requests and paperwork
• Ensure all COI's meet customer requirements
• Research and resolve discrepancies in customer accounts
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding invoices and payments
• Prepare and submit accurate reports on accounts receivable activity
• Participate in month-end closing procedures
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with customers

To qualify, you should have:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounts receivable
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in NetSuite a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
