Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Take the next steps in your career with Twin City Staffing. We’re seeking a shipping and receiving clerk with material handling experience to join our team in Eden Prairie. In this role, you'll oversee inventory, manage shipments, and ensure the integrity of received items.

Location: Eden Prairie, MN

Wage: $19 – $22/hr.

Hours: 8 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday

Duties of the shipping and receiving clerk:

• Account for the location of incoming goods
• Ensure no damaged items are sent or received
• Compare packing lists to purchase orders and verify product accuracy
• Collaborate with the marketing department to display manufacturer marketing pieces
• Update product inventory and handle returns to vendors
• Package products for return and complete necessary paperwork

Material handler duties:

• Operate heavy machinery for material movement
• Lift and handle items weighing 50 lbs. or more

Requirements of the shipping and receiving clerk:

• Strong math skills and ability to maintain accurate records
• Experience operating heavy machinery
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
• Excellent communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
