Morris Smith Ford of Larned, a newly opened dealership in Larned, KS servicing the Great Bend, Rush Center, Hays, Kinsley, St. John, Lewis, Burdett, and Dodge City Kansas Area is looking to fill its open Automotive Technician position. We are hiring technicians at varying levels of experience and knowledge from entry level technicians to Master Certified Diesel Technicians.

As an Automotive Technician, you will be experienced and aware of the latest automotive technologies and a good problem solver.

Requirements:

• Maintain an organized, neat and safe bay
• High level of motivation and energy
• Ability to install parts which include shock absorbers and exhaust systems
• Previous Auto Tech experience
• Attention to detail
• Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
• Working knowledge of shop equipment (such as wheel and tire equipment, alignment system, diagnostic equipment, A/C equipment, etc.)

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated success in work ethic
• Strong customer service skills
• Any ASE certifications and/or a tech school degree are a big plus, but not required
• Organization and follow-up skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Pre-employment drug test/physical/background check will help assure we build teams of people who can best work with others and serve the needs of our customers
