Director of Wholesale Operations

Employment Status: Full-time, benefits eligible

Location: This position is located at our new Gymreapers HQ in Nampa, ID

Schedule: M-F on-site, 8-5/flex according to business needs

Compensation: $100k to $120k, depending on experience

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Director of Wholesale Operations to own all aspects of the pre and post sales wholesale process and daily operations for our wholesale sales channel including sales planning, managing compliance, inventory, and EDI requirements, and ensure that customer service and fulfillment/logistics standards are met. The Director of Wholesale Operations will also be responsible for maintaining inventory control through our wholesale channels, monitoring sales trends, and identifying areas for improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Order book ownershipment and management for wholesale accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness, working with product and operations teams to ensure stock available and address and issues promptly.
• Perform as a subject matter expert for the wholesale team across logistics and technology representing the wholesale team to ensure effective implementation of key projects and initiatives such as systems implementations of ERP software and Product Inventory Management.
• Overseeing daily wholesale operations and ensuring that customer service standards are consistently met.
• Conducting continuous improvement through our wholesale operations channel to enable growth.
• Work with the supply chain team to manage inventory levels and supply chain logistics to optimize stock availability and minimize backorders.
• Utilize ERP and WMS systems to oversee any issues that may arise from distribution and fulfillment. Oversee EDI implementation and management to streamline operations and data accuracy with vendors.
• Reduce and challenge wholesale chargebacks and returns, analyzing chargeback reason codes, passing back key feedback to product teams, working with our distribution teams to understand compliance challenges and issues.
• Work alongside sales and operations to ensure their accounts orders are allocated, picked, packed, and shipped in designated timeframes.
• Collaborating with marketing teams to execute wholesale promotional campaigns and events that drive footfall and increase customer engagement.
• Align cross functionally with marketing and operations to elevate wholesale brand image via packaging, delivery, overall brand execution.
• Addressing customer complaints and issues promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Drive business results by supporting our sales team to ensure we can fulfill all wholesale orders promptly and effectively.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in wholesale operations management
• Knowledge of store operations and customer service standards
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and retail management software
