Job Summary: As an IT Support Technician at Private Sawgrass Country Club (not TPC), you will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving technical issues related to both software applications and hardware systems. Your role will involve managing network configurations, ensuring the security of our systems, and supporting our staff with their technological needs in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities: - Identify, log, and resolve technical problems with various software applications and computer hardware. - Configure, manage, and maintain user accounts and permissions to ensure secure access to networks. - Enforce and monitor network security protocols to prevent unauthorized access to company assets and facilities. - Keep up-to-date records of computer inventory and manage equipment maintenance. - Troubleshoot and maintain local area networks (LAN), Voice over IP (VoIP) telephony, and Audio-Visual (AV) systems connections. - Liaise with vendors and third-party service providers to resolve technical issues with desktop computing equipment and software. - Recommend and implement system upgrades to improve infrastructure durability and performance. - Analyze functional needs to guide specifications for system purchases. - Address hardware failures and resolve network connectivity issues promptly. - Authorize and oversee VPN access for all remote users to ensure secure and stable connections. - Assist in the technical upgrading and routine maintenance of desktop systems, including software and hardware installations. - Participate in the testing and deployment of new applications and systems. - Provide training and support to staff on best practices for using IT systems and equipment effectively. - Manage and operate audio and video equipment for digital and in-person meetings, including live-streaming and recording for events and business conferences. - Set up and dismantle Audio-Visual equipment, operate soundboards, and manage multi-room projection and web streaming services. - **Manage and assist with the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of AV needs for company events, ensuring high-quality audio and visual experience for participants and attendees.** - Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all Audio-Visual equipment.

Requirements: Proven experience as an IT Support Technician or similar role. Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products. Ability to diagnose and resolve basic technical issues. Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant field preferred. This addition will clarify that the role also specifically involves handling AV requirements for events, emphasizing the importance of this skill set in the job responsibilities.
