Retail Operations Manager Job Description

ACP’s Retail Operations Manager manages the daily operations associated with our point of sale system and our non prescription sales floor.  This position also manages the implementation of ACP's monthly marketing plan and the training of Supplement Specialists.  Previous supervisory experience is required.  These are the personality traits and skills required for this position:  a positive ‘can do’ attitude, a relationship centered approach to customer service, basic math skills, strong problem solving skills and ability to manage personnel according to ACP’s policies and procedures. 

Duties and Responsibilities

●     Understand and comply with ACP Policies and Procedures.

●     Supervise and train Supplement Specialists.  Ensure Supplement Specialists comply with ACP Policies and Procedures.  Evaluate performance of Supplement Specialists

●     Maintain a clean and organized store

●     Oversee daily operations and delegate tasks of daily operations to Supplement Specialists.  Assist Supplement Specialists as needed.

●     Ensure accuracy and excellent customer service in all POS transactions

●     Ensure completion of Monthly Marketing and Training tasks.

●     Demonstrate working knowledge of ACP’s products, services, and events.

●     Employ ACP training to educate patients about our products, services, and events.

●     Manage the work schedule for Supplement Specialists and ensure you and your staff arrive 5-10 minutes before scheduled work shifts.

●     Work with inventory manager to ensure appropriate inventory levels.

●     Occasionally staff off site events that promote ACP’s products, services, and events.

●     Maintain a professional, positive attitude, and greet patients with an open heart.

●     Communicate courteously and professionally to all coworkers and patients.

●     Perform other tasks delegated by Pharmacists and Business Manager
