Job Description
Salary:
Software Engineer
Responsible for design, estimation, implementation, testing, documentation, and maintenance of object-oriented software modules. The candidate will work on-site as part of a product development team to deliver quality software on time and on budget.
Responsibilities
- Working with sales and marketing team to document product requirements.
- Translating product requirements into detailed functional design documentation.
- Creating and documenting detailed technical designs of object-oriented software modules.
- Coding of software modules to technical design specifications.
- Estimating design and development tasks.
- Creating detailed plans for software development schedules.
- Writing detailed QA scripts.
- Full unit testing, integration testing, and tuning of software.
- Undergoing and performing design and coding reviews.
- Fixing bugs and maintaining software.
- Preparing for and participating in project reviews.
- Supporting sales efforts and customer support efforts.
- Creating Unix, windows, and SQL scripts.
- Installing, configuring, and customizing software.
- Domestic/International travel may be required 10-30% of the time
- Proactively managing their own schedules and tasks.
- Performing any task that adds value in a dynamic startup environment.
- Doing whatever it takes to ensure the team and company meets its goals
Education/Experience
- BS in computer science.
- Full lifecycle software product development experience, including product support
- BS in computer science.
- Full lifecycle software product development experience, including product support.
- Extensive experience working in a team environment.
- Software development in a Unix environment.
- Software development in a Windows environment.
- Working knowledge of common software development tools, such as IDE’s, debuggers, version control systems, etc.
- Object-oriented software design and development.
- Experience working in a multi-branch source code environment.
- Design and development of high-throughput, high-availability client/server systems.
- Systems integration of client/server distributed systems.
- Experience with message-oriented middleware desirable.
- Knowledge of SEMI protocols highly desirable.
- Knowledge of semiconductor processes and/or semiconductor fab automation highly desirable.
- Has successfully completed necessary OEM/IDM Audit training and inspections, Copy Exact training, and can represent the company in any audit type situation associated with this role.
