Position: SCM Production Specialist (Entry-Level)

Industry: Automotive Parts

Work Hours: 1st Shift (7 am to 7 pm) or 2nd Shift (7 pm to 7 am)

1. General Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Coordinate activities with the production staff and assist with improving efficiency of the production operation.
• Plan and coordinate activities to meet production schedule and ensure products are in compliance with all applicable specifications and modifications.
• Maintain high productivity and cost effectiveness through proper scheduling of production, manpower, downtime for sanitation and maintenance.
• Responsible for control of budgeted areas such as overtime, waste of raw material and finished goods, yield, efficiency, expense, etc
• Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining product integrity, practicing highest levels of products in accordance with PPAP (Production Part Approval Process).
• Establish policies and procedures for import activities such as international logistics/shipping of materials and equipment in conjunction with customs & trade compliance.
• Establish and manage inventory control management that will monitor and maintain materials; perform cycle counts, perform inventory reconciliation during inventory discrepancy and staging of raw materials, consumables, and supplies.
• Daily review and analysis of production data.
• Recommend solution and/or initiate actions to further increase efficiency, improve quality and reduce cost.
• Daily walk through of the facility and follow up with corrective actions of issues identified in the inspection.

2. Qualifications:

• Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal skills with management team, employees and business partners in a competent, productive manner.
• Materials management experience and leadership in a manufacturing/production environment required.
• Bachelor Degree Required
• Must be Proficient computer skills in MS office
• Preferred Knowledge and experience of MES or WMS
• Preferred Bi-lingual in English and Korean
• Must be able to work on feet or sit for long hours
