HVAC Lead Installer/Service Technician

We are a local commercial and residential HVAC company looking for a Lead Installer/Service Technician to join our team! You will install, service, and repair heating and air conditioning systems.

Responsibilities:

You will make an impact as a HVAC/Refrigeration Technician by completing priorities in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration. You will maintain quality standards by inspecting installations and modifications of HVAC/R and more

• Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements by troubleshooting, diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC/R equipment
• Perform major and minor routine preventative maintenance
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Develop positive relationships with suppliers, contractors and customers

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous experience in HVAC (5 years preferred)
• Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Understand the importance of Customer Service and have a clear, transparent, and respectful communication (5+ years of customer service required)
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Drive personal accountability and use effective time management to achieve commitments
• Hold a valid state-issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass a motor vehicle report and have reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Universal EPA Certification
• NATE Certified
• 2+ years experience in commercial HVAC/R maintenance
• Vocational or Technical Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC/R) certification and 2 years experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field for commercial HVAC/R and building controls or related field
