JOB OVERVIEW

We are a women’s fashion brand seeking a talented, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Photographer to join our Creative team. This position will be responsible for shooting in studio product, model, and flat lay photos across various marketing platforms. This fast-paced position contributes to the storytelling of our brand and will work under our Creative Content Manager.

POSITION DETAIL

• Full Time / Salary Exempt $68K

• Reporting to - Creative Content Manager

• Position Location – Headquarters, DTLA, CA

• In office Monday through Friday

• Job requires onsite work at Headquarters.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for daily eCommerce product photography.

• Photograph original content for ads, website platforms, and social media channels (including but not limited to: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook)

• Shoot in studio creative on model, still life and product photography (on form and flat lays)

• Shoot & edit video and still life for social content shoots, editorial shoots, in-studio eCommerce shoots.

• Shooting, retouching, and editing, still life content, & short-form videos, and provide deliverables with quick turnaround.

• Work closely with Creative Content Manager, Design Director, Marketing Coordinator, as well as cross-functional teams to understand and execute creative needs.

• Participate and contribute to pulling inspiration and bring fresh new ideas & concepts to creative content.

• Assist with pre and postproduction at eCommerce and campaign photoshoots internally and on-location.

• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the studio.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

• Minimum 3+ years of extensive experience of studio lighting - flat lay studio photography, model studio photography, and catalog studio photography flat lay studio photography, model studio photography, and catalog studio photography. Ability to work with various lighting techniques to achieve the desired aesthetic and mood for fashion shoots. (Portfolio of work required)

• 2+ Years of fashion photography. Contemporary women’s fashion brands are a plus. (Portfolio of work required)

• experience working with and directing models

• must be able to understand the creative vision of the team and visually execute

• Strong technical photography knowledge - Must be able to use DSLR cameras proficiently, adjusting settings manually to achieve desired results.

• Must be able to lift heavy equipment and props (up to 35lbs)

• Strong understanding of composition, lighting and posing to capture visually appealing and on-brand images.

• Must have knowledge of and experience with creation, editing and posting content on TikTok and Instagram and various social media channels

• Collaborates effectively with team members: Proactively seeks and incorporates feedback, shares expertise openly, and supports colleagues in achieving common goals.

• Skilled in project management and task organization: Prioritizes tasks effectively, manages deadlines efficiently, ensures projects stay on track, willing to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Keeps team informed of project progress and potential roadblocks: Provides regular updates, communicates clearly and transparently, and proactively addresses any issue

• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere.

• Proficient in Google Sheets / Slides / Docs (or Apple, Microsoft equivalents)
