Warehouse Lead - Full Time (NC)

Description:

Motivate members of the designated team to harness their potentials and work harder for the execution of projects.

Location Mooresboro, NC -- Typical Hours are 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, could vary slightly due to production.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor workers on site during production activities to ensure adherence to ethics and safety procedures.
• Evaluate manufacturing equipment for safety and functionality.
• Ensure that products and goods manufactured meet quality standards obtainable in the industry.
• Motivate workers to enhance production quantity at the same time maintain high production standards.
• Check finished products to ensure quality, and that industry standards are met before they are declared ready for use.
• Work as middleman between workers and management to create healthy communication.
• Ensure that work materials are present as at when needed.
• Be a "hands-on" team lead; working alongside team members at all times to assure project completion.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrates strong organizational skills.
• Pays close attention to detail.
• Possesses physical strength necessary to lift and move heavy boxes, up to 50 lbs.
• Exhibits ability to use inventory software efficiently.
• Possesses basic math and computer skills.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office, and Excel.
• Works well with a team.
• Communicates clearly and effectively.
• Manages time efficiently.
• Demonstrates solid problem-solving skills.
• Is capable of operating forklifts and other equipment to move heavy shipments.
• Demonstrates awareness of proper warehouse and factory safety procedures.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Warehouse experience required.
• Intermediate computer skills preferred, Microsoft Applications and Google Docs
• License and certification to operate heavy machinery is strongly preferred

Work Environment:

• Time will be spent in a stockroom, warehouse, or loading dock receiving and transporting deliveries.
• Moderate to heavy physical labor such as lifting and moving heavy items are required on a regular basis.
• The temperature in the warehouse or dock varies according to external climate.
• Standard 40-hour workweek applies.
• Based on the above essential functions this job is considered to be a safety-sensitive job function.
